Conclusion [C OG]

  • The workflow gets an ID of the discovered file in from an abstract Uri as value of the global input parameter "SourcePlatformUri".
  • A RegisterItem task was added for creating an asset / item in the object repository. The file Id (in form of an abstract Uri) is passed as input parameter to the task.
  • The task will provide the created item Id as an output parameter again in the form of an abstract Uri. This locally generated output is written into the global parameter "NewItem".

This might be also a good time to save the first version of your workflow. To do so, select the deploy button as described in the Deploy into System [C OG] section. The workflow is deployed and saved in ConfigPortal. It will be saved as version 1.0.
