Microsoft Azure AD (aka Entra ID) integration
It is now supported to create and configure Identity Provider for the Authorisation Service (AS) from ConfigPortal.
Support for Export Locations
ConfigPortal introduces a new Global Configuration page for VidiCore Export Locations to trigger export jobs. Several different Export Locations can be defined to support different use cases.
Two new developer toolkit are available now to select single or multiple Export Locations in an applications configuration use case pages. VS_ExportLocation, Multi_ExportLocation
Support for Workflow User Tasks
VidiFlow introduces User Tasks for workflows in release 23.4. To support this, a new Global Configuration was implemented. Currently, only basic features are available as currently, no user task form designer is available.
GCP-Support for proxy streaming and thumbnails
It is now possible to configure the proxy streaming and thumbnail location on GCP.
Enhanced staging notification
A new notification was introduced for staging. It contains the IDs of all contacts which are updated in the target environment in the staging process.
Storage connection status improvements
In previous versions, it took a long time to read the storage connection status and show it in the storage configuration dialog. The performance could be improved a lot in version 23.4.
The connection status is now also shown in the global configuration page for storages and in the storage configuration for each storage access method via an icon and a tooltip. The following situations are differentiated for the access methods:

No icon | Access methods not found in VidiCore |
In the storage main page, a green LED means that at least one access method is successfully connected, while a red LED says that none of the method is connected.
New column “description” in metadata overview
The global metadata configuration now shows a new column “description”.
Toolkit enhancements
Several ConfigPortal toolkits were enhanced:
Enum values using String-exact
Enum values defined in ConfigPortal now use the type String-exact instead of the previous String. This has advantages when searching for enum values.
All existing enum values editable in CP will be migrated automatically with the update to 23.4.
It is important to trigger a manual re-index after the update to benefit from the changes.
New toolkit: String_StagingDependant
This toolkit accepts strings as input and the value is stored staging dependent.
