General topics
Introduce group rights to show/hide UCPs
ConfigPortal now supports to show/hide use case pages based on group rights. This allows to deploy ConfigPortal in a way that specific users only see some required use case pages. VidiCore Configuration Properties
A new configuration page for VidiCore Configuration Properties is available in the Global Configuration of the product VidiCore. It allows to import the currently set values and take over control for the configuration of these properties.
The user is supported by direct links to the VidiCore documentation and the option to reset each single to the VidiCore default values.
Support key/value data for metadata field and group definition
Key-Value-metadata can now be created, changed or deleted for both Metadata Field and Metadata Group definitions. This feature can be used to add metadata to field and group definitions, e.g. to store mapping information for third party systems.
Toolkit Enhancements
New toolkit Color Picker
A new color Picker toolkit is available now.
New toolkit Number_StagingDependent
The new toolkit Number_StagingDependent allows to use environment-dependent numbers in a use case page.
Improved XML editor for toolkit String_XSLT
The toolkit String_XSLT uses a different editor now supporting automatic formatting of XML data.
Support migration from CustomInput_SystemEndpoint to Dropdown_SystemEndpoint
When switching from CustomInput_SystemEndpoint to Dropdown_SystemEndpoint a migration is now done by ConfigPortal.
Staging Enhancements
Preview migration of Use Case Defintions
Updated Use Case Definitions are visible now in the staging overview before the finalisation.
Other enhancements
New protocol “Local Volume” for storage method type “Windows”
For the storage method type “Windows”, a new protocol named “Local Volume” is available.
Improvements for git clean-up cron job
The cron job running “git gc” regularly to clean-up the git repository now automatically creates a backup of the repository and runs the clean-up on a copy. This avoids a broken repository if the “git gc” command fails.
