Global Keyboard Shortcuts
Global keyboard shortcuts are shortcuts which can always be executed when being active in the VidiEditor web page. These keyboard shortcuts act in the same way, independently from which main focus area is selected. If no main focus area is selected, the global keyboard shortcuts are not executable. Please note that it is necessary that one set the focus to the VidiEditor web page and have at least one main focus area selected.
The following global keyboard shortcuts are available in VidiEditor:

Alt + 2 | Set focus to main area Source Player. |
Alt + 3 | Set focus to main area Timeline Player. |
Alt + 4 | Set focus to main Timeline area. |
Shift + Page up / down | Tab forward / backward (Media Mgmt <-> Source <-> Timeline) |
Alt + Arrow down | Navigate down the cuts in timeline. |
Alt + Arrow up | Navigate up the cuts in timeline. |
. (dot) | Toggle move / Overwrite mode. |
Alt + i | Open Keyboard Shortcut Overview. |
Ctrl + Alt + k | Toggle Keyframe Editing View (WRE Feature only) |
Alt + k | Play / pause Timeline Player |
Alt + Arrow left | Navigate Timeline Player 1 frame backward |
Alt + Arrow right | Navigate Timeline Player 1 frame forward |
Ctrl + Alt + k | Toggle between Keyframe and Timeline view |
