Features
Effect positioning keyboard shortcuts
For convenience it is now possible to position media or masks in the player more easily while pressing shift or ctrl key while dragging the effect in the player. This allows to only move the chosen element horizontally or vertically. This is of advantage for example when cropping 16:9 to 1:1 for social media.
Effect Settings highlighting
When dealing with effects in the effect settings pane convenience was added to more easily select effect and effect parameter. This is especially helpful when organizing work using multiple blur and mosaic effects.
Marker options: Default Length and Type User Preference
It is now possible to set a default duration for timeline marker by configuration. Also the user is now able to set the marker type for creation as user preference. Those features of advantage if multiple marker types are used in an installation for different kind of use cases and users.

EDL JSON Schema
For smooth integrations based on the VidiEditor Sequence Description (EDL) we provide a schema for each version of the data model now which can be downloaded for usage on integrations .
