Migration Guide 24.1 [Prep GEN]

In order to migrate to the next official 24.1 release, please proceed with the following steps:

1. Update to the latest version of PREPARED-installer 24.1.x

2. Please proceed with updating the system by using

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=env

3. AuthService will contain an updated version of KeyKloak 22

In order to backup the data please proceed with the following guide:

Please proceed with updating the system by using

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=as

4. Continue updating OpenSearch, Observability, VidiCore, Configportal, Vidiflow

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=idx,obs,vc,cp,vf

5. In Order to update the products please proceed with

VidiStream

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=vs

VidiEditor

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=ve

MediaEditor

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=me

MediaPortal

sudo ./prepared.sh --tags=mp

Missing group

• _collection_relation_read

• _collection_relation_write

Solution: Manually created the missing groups

Database problem

Solution: Scale down vidicore to 0 and than the DB problems do no longer exist
