Timeline

This feature enhances the user experience by displaying existing events in a timeline format, allowing users to interact with entries in segments, and providing configuration options for selecting metadata fields. For more information, see Event Search | Timeline-Display .

Frame Accurate Thumbnails

By facilitating the retrieval of Keyframes through the Render Engine from the Vidispine Streaming Server, the accuracy in which key frames are represented has been enhanced. This process aims to optimize video streaming and enhance the viewer's experience by offering greater precision. For more information, see Player Config in MediaPortal .

Contain and Not-Contain Operator on Filter

Users often need the ability to refine their search results by applying filters or facets. One common requirement is to provide an option to exclude specific values from search results. For more information, see Filters in MediaPortal | Negative-Filter .

Compound Metadata on Timed Segments

In the context of managing events and their associated players, users require the capability to configure and display compound metadata for multiple players involved in a specific event. This feature enables the configuration and presentation of compound metadata as a table within the Segments view.

Alternative Streaming Server Source

Allows one to automatically switch to a secondary streaming server resource which is separate form the VidiSpine Streaming server, but can provide Mpeg Dash Stream and provides a Bas64 Encoded access path.
