Features
Source Player History of Load Items
The source player now allows one to open a list of last opened assets to more easily find the last items used in the source player. This offers one the possibility to quickly browse back to previously used media when browsing different items. Last Opened Items [VE UG] and Player Configurations [VE OG]
Project Search Categories
Based on the set Access Control Lists, the open project dialogue now conveniently provides searches split into a user’s own and shared projects, as well as recently opened projects.

ACL Management
To manage user access to different projects or media generated by VidiEditor, it is now possible to configure different ways of granting access. This can be based on configurable rules which can be applied automatically as well as allowing one to configure manual assignment in the frontend made by the user. It is also possible to configure the VidiEditor in a way where only the owner of the media gets ACLs for it. Copy Timeline Sequences in One Project
VidiEditor now allows one to have multiple timelines in one project for organizational tasks. These timelines can be used to copy one edit to another timeline and continue work there. This is especially useful when preparing content for different distribution ways. Timeline Sequences [VE UG]
Match Frame
A match frame functionality has been implemented to allow the user to load the visible frame of the timeline player into the source player based on playhead position, IN point and OUT point of the relevant segment. This allows one to quickly find the source material of segments used in the timeline again to browse the content again. For more information please see Match Frame [VE UG] .
Notifications on Collections
An active notification mechanism is implemented on top of VidiCore notifications. This allows one to actively notify a VidiEditor user about changes to projects made from outside of VidiEditor. A typical example of this would be to add or delete media in the VidiEditor project from MediaPortal. For more information please see Notifications [VE UG] and Notifications [VE OG] .
Collections as Tree View
Apart from the the classical view of the VidiEditor bin, it is now possible to expand and collapse collection structures as one would in a tree view. For more information please see Media Interactions in the Project Bin [VE UG] .
