If crash recordings are generated using the UI, there is no possibility for the user to provide values for mandatory parameters. To solve this problem in different systems, VidiControl offers multiple ways to define which value should be used in that scenario.
Default Values
One possibility is to define default values for the mandatory parameters. In general this can be done directly in the Capability Content , but there are also special cases. For example for Dynamic Enum Values [VCon OG] , defaults can be defined in the Config Portal.
Default Pool Content
There might be cases where especially for crash recordings other default values should be used. To tackle this, VidiControl offers the possibility to define a default content for default pools. This configuration can be done in the VidiControl Config-UI when editing the default pools:
