Project Templates [VE OG]

VidiEditor allows to create project templates to simplify recurring work. In result the user can start with the timeline(s) defined inside a template while creating new projects.

To use this functionality, the related collection type Collection Types [C ARC] musr exists as stated in Data Handling. The type should automatically be deployed to the system on installation. Besides this precondition following asepects can be configured for templates in:

ConfigPotal → VidiEditor → Project → Project Templates

Deletion Lock

This defines the expiry date of the templates from creation / last edit time on. The user can overrule this manually

Automatic Access for the Project Template

This assigns an ACL rule ACL Management to the projects to control the user groups the created project template is shared with.
