Logstash [VF UG]

Part of the Elastic Stack, Logstash functions as a plugin for Elasticsearch. Its functions focus on offering the possibility of gathering and processing data (such as events and messages) and then forwarding these to programs such as Elasticsearch. This is particularly relevant in a Vidispine context, as it allows VidiFlow to collect log data from the entire suite, organize it and make it available via Kibana. VidiFlow users are able to search for and view the collected log data in the Logs Monitor.
